In January and February we are offering you the famous tradition of the treber sausage. The current dates are published in the news section.

The treber sausage is a pork sausage which is produced following a special recipe and then smoked.

The remains of the pressed grapes, the pomace, is fermented. The sausage is the cooked in the distillery while the pomace is distilled into marc. While the sausage is cooking for about an hour, it takes its special smell.

The sausage is then flambé with the marc and accompanied by potato salad.
